ToxicAlert™ is a unique, highly sensitive sensor technology that detects organic toxins in real time, using proprietary Extreme Ultra-Violet (EUV) fluorescence spectroscopy sensitive enough to analyze un-concentrated natural waters and fast enough for rapid detection and intervention.

How ToxicAlert™ works

EUV fluorescence is used today in both laboratory and field settings as the most sensitive of all optical detection technologies, used for detecting organic molecules and discriminating among molecular species. Real Time Purity has created a new hybrid spectral analyzer that brings unprecedented speed, accuracy, and sensitivity to toxic chemical and biological monitoring.

What it detects

ToxicAlert™ can detect a wide range of polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and toxic chemicals, from polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) to dioxins, in groundwater and drinking water, at parts-per-billion concentrations. This addresses the billion-dollar-per-year markets for the analysis and monitoring of organic chemicals.
